Bucheon City attended the 2nd Conference of UNESCO Creative Cities of Crafts and Folk Arts held in Icheon on April 30 to May 1, 2018.
Sixteen cities from 13 countries recognized as UNESCO Creative Cities of the Arts and Folk Arts attended the said conference. Bucheon City being a UNESCO Creative City of Literature was invited to participate including other Creative Cities in South Korea which are recognized in other areas.
The participants looked for ways to collaborate, as well as to cooperate between and among domestic and foreign creative cities through free roundtable discussions and open forum to build unity and camaraderie among each other.
